The UGSF4 Univ Gold Screen Filters are Braun coffee maker filters that work very well if you like strong coffee. A thin film of oil from the beans will end up in your coffee, and it lets through more richness than a paper filter. They  also last a long time, and you won't have to purchase paper filters, which probably helps the environment over the long-run. you can also put it in the dishwasher, which is a good idea to remove some of the residue. Oily residue build-up in both the filter and coffee maker will cause your coffee to be bitter.You can wash them by hand,and the coffee still tastes great. These filters made for Braun coffee maker are easy to clean as long as you rinse them from the bottom to get rid of the residual coffee grounds. Considering the cost comparing to what you would pay over time for paper filters, this is a no brainer. On the whole they perform very well and take the place of purchasing paper filters.This one is built a bit different and looks like it solves that problem, the bottom plastic part "u" seems to catch and hold those old coffee grounds, so you have to use a little bit of water to rinse it out completely. The placed indentations on the lid also make it so that the brewing pot does not close completely over the filter, but it still works.you still have to wash the coffee grounds out.

Tassimo Water Filters are another model of Braun coffee maker filter which only fit the Braun tassimo coffee maker that allows for a filter,the TA1400 with a 68-oz. water tank. They do not fit the TA1200 with a 50oz water tank which does not come with a water filters. If your machine originally came with a filter it is the TA1400 and this is the replacement water filter for it. The filter does a good job and allows you to quickly fill the tank with tap water as opposed to using water from my kitchen filter which comes out slowly and takes much longer to fill the tank. The water filtration unit works very well, You would never know that the water is bad with these filters. Highly recommend Tassimo and the water filtration unit,great product especially with Gevalia coffee.

The 7050-580 Braun coffee maker filters Basket in black color has extremely flimsy tabs that hold the basket in place.No bells or whistles, timers, grinders, etc. Put your grinds in, fill it with water and push the big red "ON" button. The plastic tabs that are used to hang the filter basket tend to break, try to be careful with them. They don't make this model anymore though,so the replacement basket is a good idea. The product itself is definitely fragile if dropped or bumped too hard,so you have to be careful with that. Braun 4085-630 Coffee maker Filter Basket  in white color is a very Good replacement for the original product,It's hard and almost impossible to by this model now.
